Wyndham Southbury Hotel, Southbury

The hotel room was spacious and very clean, perfect for a family stay, but had a faint smell. It was great that I could bring my grandkids for swimming. However, there were some signs of wear and tear, stains on the bedding, and the pillowcase was inside out. The lack of shampoo and limited coffee options were a bit disappointing.

I had a great time at the hotel. The rooms were very nicely decorated, up to date, and most importantly, very clean. The pool was okay, but the best part was being able to bring my grandkids and spend a wonderful two hours swimming. However, there was a heavy smoking stench around.

The hotel was conveniently located off the freeway, making it ideal for access. The rooms were clean and neat, although the issue with the air conditioning was a letdown. The staff was remarkably friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to assist when needed. While the lack of sitting benches around the property was a drawback, the front desk service was excellent.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean, but the tired and dirty decor was a downside. The service was very personable and professional, which was a highlight. The location was convenient but needing some TLC. The dining experience was not worth the money, and the lack of available options was disappointing.
